Kate Boy consists of three Swedes and one Australian who
have apparently been handling production duties for other artists for quite a
while now, only recently deciding it was time to launch their own project, and
we are all better for it. "Northerns Lights" is their first official
track and it lands in the same world as one of my all time favorites, and
fellow Swedes, The Knife. The sound of watery bouncy synths and a commanding hardline beat
make this dark electro-pop song very memorable and leaves me wanting more, to
top it off the visuals that were directed by Sikow and animated
by Oskar Gullstrand are top notch too.
