Maynard James Keenan to Play With Puscifer Again This Fall

Tool's Maynard James Kennan is spending his summer vacation on tour with his recently reunited platinum-selling "other" band, A Perfect Circle. Once the Circle closes, MJK will return to work on another of his bands, and no, it's not Tool. Keenan will shift his focus to the always entertaining Puscifer. The band's second album, 'Conditions of My Parole,' is due out October 18. Keenan recently told SPIN the album "is like 'Twin Peaks' in the desert."

Guest players on the album include Jeff Friedl and Matt McJunkins from Ashes Divide, L.A. songwriter Juliette Commagere, Bat for Lashes drummer Sarah Jones, and Jon Theodore, formerly of The Mars Volta. "Working with different people opens up a whole new set of questions and puzzles and solutions," says Keenan.
